Monica Wagner

Monica was born and raised in Lena, WI. She attended UW-Stevens Point and graduated with a BS in Heath and Wellness. After graduation, Monica did a sports medicine internship at Walt Disney’s Wide World of Sports. She returned home to Lena and started as a Licensed Athletic Traner for Bellin Health in 1999.

In 2014, Monica returned to college to attain her BS in Education from UW-Oshkosh. She taught middle and high school science for 10 years, only to return to Bellin Health. Monica is currently the Regional Development Specialist for the Bellin Health Foundation.

She enjoys making connections, cultivating and building relationships. She has coached basketball and currently coaches cross country and track & field. Monica is the President of the Gillett Elementary Lighthouse Committee, a member of the Gillett Chamber, and volunteers as a catechist for St. John’s Catholic Church.

In her spare time, Monica loves to attend her children’s events, run, spend time outdoors, volunteer, garden, hike, and work out. Her family has a small hobby farm outside of Gillett.
