The Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations which are exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. With the exception of established scholarship awards to area students, the Foundation does not provide grants or funding to individuals.

Geographically, the Foundation’s target area is focused on Oconto County and its surrounding areas. The majority of grants and funding awarded by the Foundation are in the areas of health, education, social services, arts and culture, conservation/historic preservation, and community and recreational development.

The Foundation does not provide grants to support operating expenses, non-educational endowments, debt reductions, annual fund drives, discriminatory agencies, non-local government agencies or individuals.

Board of Directors

The Foundation’s Board of Directors is currently limited to seven (7) members. All members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors have strong ties to the local community and are committed to its success and improvement.
