Thanks to the generous support of the Bond Foundation, the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin – Green Bay was able to host fun, impactful events and outreach opportunities in Oconto County. In 2025, they provided a variety of programs and events in Oconto County and the surrounding area to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families, while also fostering community inclusion and awareness. These experiences provided key support opportunities for families and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to practice social skills and daily living skills while experiencing their local communities in a safe, inclusive environment. Events made possible through this grant included:
• Chicken Little Apple Orchard
• Baby and toddler playgroup at The Cool Place
• Youth Transition Fair at Pulaski High School
• Parent’s Night Out at Luigi’s in Little Suamico
• Oconto County Breakfast on the Farm
• Inclusive golf at Patriot Golf Club
